First visit to the Divan, under recommendation from a good friend. We'd both settled on cod and for the price I wasn't expecting the massive piece of freshly fried cod I received and thoroughly enjoyed. Also had enough room for their delicious sticky toffee pudding and custard. Well worth the visit, I will be returning soon to sample some more of their varied menu. Highly recommend the Divan Café tucked away at the end of the brewery Market. Update breakfast #2 was delicious!
Chose this place as it seemed fairly busy. The staff inside were friendly and welcoming. Once seated we were given time to look at the menu before we were approached to order. Just had a tea and sausage and onion sandwich. Both went down very nicely. Will definitely be returning at some point. I can definitely recommend this place.
Been coming here for years but today was the first time I was blanked and two people got served before me. Place wasn’t even busy and the waitress saw me walk in but couldn’t be bothered to serve me so I used Ppppins cafe up the road instead. You should look after your regulars better. Won’t be coming back.
Staff and cafe are nice just a shame the food is not. B+b was stil warm from the microwave defrost function and the chips tasted of a thousand things apart from potato as the oil was dirty. Went there for lunch with working bunch . 6 man and we all had kind of different meals but everything was delicious. JP with chilli and cheese, breakfast and some had roast dinners. Must say the service was specially nice. Everyone was very happy. Thank you!
Been unwell allday with food poisoning had a bacon and egg roll can't stop the chronic pain in my belly and eggy burps. Advice stop pre cooking bacon and sausages and leaving the eggs out in the hot environment. Poor food hygiene
Here this morning for a breakfast. Was very good. Wasn’t too impressed with the sausage however. The service was excellent and all staff i interacted with were very nice.
Lovely little spot, really friendly staff and all of the food is cooked fresh comes out piping hot, extremely cost effective and definitely worth a little trip in Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Friendly busy little cafe, serves all usual fare of a cafe. Bit dark inside, toilet not clearly signed posted! Moderate prices.
