I recently had the best cup of coffee in a long time at this restaurant! I usually don't like frothy coffee, so I was happy to see that there were other options available besides filter coffee, which can sometimes taste old. I decided to try a V60 with Ugandan beans, and even though the barista seemed overwhelmed with a large order before me, his colleague stepped in and made me the most delicious cup of coffee. Other customers expressed envy at my choice and wished they had ordered the same. I enjoyed the ritual of the V60 process, something you don't often see with coffee. I would give it a perfect 10/10 and will definitely be returning. My husband also enjoyed his latte.

After ordering coffee online, we were excited to see what this restaurant in York was like in person. I cannot speak highly enough of the warm welcome we received from all the staff during our visit. I highly recommend the bagels for breakfast, as well as the delicious coffee. Other establishments could learn a lot from the hospitality shown by the staff at Via post. They truly made our silver wedding anniversary breakfast a memorable experience.

Called in here today and tried the new menu (May ‘23 . Had an ‘Avo’ (pinchito brunch and I must say the flavours were stunning. Toasted bread with a mix of feta, chorizo and chilli jam were the main ingredients but my chef (Molly had some kind of special technique for the toasting and the flavour of the chorizo and chilli jam worked a treat. Really enjoyed it, not heavy but full of flavour with a bit of a heat kick. Highly recommended:

With locally roasted coffee and small batch sizes you are assured of fresh clean tasting coffee and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff who clearly share a passion for not just good coffee but great coffee. With a good selection of their locally roasted beans for sale and a good selection of pastries and cakes this is a Must Visit coffee shop and definitely one of the best cups of coffee you can drink in York. I have been a user of Devines own beans at home for a while now so when I was in York I wanted to try there shop to see how good there own barristas brewed there beans. The coffee was the best I've tasted this side of Roost in Malton. If your a coffee lover do check it out! The staff were very attentive and polite and very good barristas, these guys weren't just pushing buttons, they know there beans!

I can confidently say that the coffee at this restaurant is the best I have ever had in Britain, which is saying something as an Italian from near Naples. The Avocado Bagel was also incredibly tasty.

Fresh coffee done in the usual formats, small selection of cakes and brownies, courteous staff, inside and outside seating. Lovely to watch people from.

Bringing coffee well before food is wrong. I heard the phrase something to eat and drink before. But not the phrase something to drink and eat!
