Wow!! What an incredible restaurant which we cannot stop talking about! We went the first weekend in October for my partners birthday. Without exception, everything about Dix is superb! Gemma is wonderful as a host attentive, friendly, engaging yet unobtrusive. Raphael is a fantastic...chef with a unique and creative menu. We have had the privilege of eating in many top restaurants over the years and this would most certainly rival some of them!! I had the foie gras brûlée to start which was so indulgent, with the cod for main course. My partner had the Guinea Fowl for main course which was so tender. For dessert he had the fog dessert and I chose the Savarin cheese with dehydrated berries w...
What a wonderful find! We chose the restaurant on the basis that it was the closest to where we were staying that was open on a Monday evening, that it had reasonable reviews was a bonus! What a lucky choice! The food was excellent. Although...we hadn’t given enough notice for a vegan menu the vegan and vegetarian sections of the group were very happy as indeed was everyone else! The dining room was lovely and it was great having a huge window into the kitchen where the chef looked relaxed and as if he was making a family dinner. A real find! The young Ango French couple who own the place deserve to do well
We always look forward to our return visit to Dix when we come to this area. Dix is run by a lovely husband and wife team Raphaël the Chef and Gemma who looks after guests in a truly delightful manner. They really are the nicest...couple. The food is of the highest standard and prepared with great love and attention. We love the design style of their restaurant in a lovely building, they have several beautiful rooms for guests to stay and this is their home also. Raphaël and Gemma have put their heart and soul into Dix and we are so pleased they are having such great success. See you next time xx
Very good experience with Claudine who takes great care, the house is full of charm, tastefully decorated and located in a particularly calm and refreshing environment facing the basilica and a large park. Very clean house, very comfortable bedding. Delicious breakfast, we will come back with great pleasure. Thank you again Claudine for your welcome and your advice!
