My visit today was anything but ordinary. I found myself waiting endlessly as the staff dealt with a customer who seemed completely lost. He didn’t know what he wanted, then asked for his order to be checked for bones. He requested four portions of equal size and thickness, which—let's be honest—who doesn’t? After that, he wanted the skin removed and then asked to see what a pound of shrimp looked like, and later a half pound. When he inquired about which spices would complement his fish, I was so frustrated that I almost walked out. I thought things would finally get moving once it was my turn, and luckily, I received my salmon without any unnecessary questions—this took all of 10 seconds....
I stopped by to get some scallops because I’m a huge fan of Hell's Kitchen and a big seafood enthusiast. I wanted to try my hand at cooking them myself, and I must say, I was thrilled with the result! I prepared four scallops and aimed to cook them just like they do on the show, and they turned out absolutely delicious! The scallops I got from Dixon's were large and fresh, which took my experience to another level. While they are on the pricier side—around $30 for 10 scallops—I managed to freeze six of them in separate containers of three, so I have more meals to look forward to. Overall, I'm really satisfied and will definitely be enjoying them again! So tasty!!!!!
I recently relocated from Texas and was craving some quality seafood. After searching online, I discovered this restaurant. They have a wide variety of options, and the staff was wonderful with my son—they even brought a lobster out for him to look at, and he thought it was amazing. The service was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place! The prices were higher than what we're used to, but since I'm in a different state, I can't make a fair comparison.

They have a great selection and I've always gotten great advice from the clerks. The selection does rotate based on what they have available, but I've never failed to put together a good dinner.
A top quality seafood vendor in the Midwest. Something that is hard to find here in the flatlands! Great selection of dips, salads and pre-prepped seafood items. I'm never disappointed!
Fantastic seafood! Still amazing! Be sure to try the breaded stuffed shrimp – you need to ask for them. They’re filled with crab and cheese, by the way!
