There were 5 people working in the cafe, 3 cleaning, 1 on the till and one poor young lad with a queue of people waiting for coffee. It isn’t difficult to see a queue and put another person on coffee making duty. While the poor lad rushed around others just casually walked past him carrying plates. They were more concerned with stacking up the plates than serving anyone, the kind of stuff you could do after the cafe closed. Coffee machines are a common bottleneck but it seems that stacking plates takes priority, even though there was no hot food to buy. Seriously, how can anyone consider this good management? The experience was terrible. We ordered fish and chips for two, and when asked by the server if we wanted mushy or garden peas, I chose mushy because the garden peas looked dried out and shriveled from being under the heat lamps. The server didn't seem to care about our concerns and just grunted in response. It was clear that they didn't take pride in the quality of the food being served. When the food arrived, my elderly mother couldn't even eat the chips as they were old and chewy. It was a disappointing meal and I regret not speaking up for better quality. I won't be returning to this restaurant for anything more than a sandwich.
The staff were so kind and attentive on our visit today, to have a festive cream team . Jack was amazing and couldn’t have done more to have made us feel special . Debs was fun and helped make it a lovely experience and Lauren on the till was working so hard and showed real maturity when dealing with several challenging customers , well done team .

Got a special breakfast this morning person serving totally uninterested in what she was doing.!! ! by the time we got breakfast it was cold. Waited in cue for coffee and tea also cold. then had to wait to make payment very very poor service. Would not recommend a breakfast here unless you like cold food and drink.
We went to have breakfast with Santa. The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous. All the staff were so helpful and organised. Santa even gave our granddaughter a gust pump. The present was ideal. Would certainly recommend to others. Thank you to everyone I y.
A fairly ordinary garden centre. All the usual things... plants, kitchen wares, gizzets and gadgets, cafe. The cafe was very slow to serve and take payment. Limited vegan options. No vegan cake. Food served and left to go cold whilst we waited to pay.
The service at this restaurant is always friendly and the food is delicious. The staff is hardworking and it is a lovely place to visit. The plants add to the atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day afternoon tea at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious and my mother was thrilled to receive a rose at the end. Thank you very much.
