We had a great experience during our recent dinner and wine at DOC Wine Bar, which has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The food is intriguing, fresh, and absolutely delicious. This time, we shared the Crispy Brie, Brussels Sprout Salad, and Signature Slider Combo Plate—each one was an excellent choice, and I highly recommend them. Our server was very gracious and polite, although we did find it a bit challenging to get her attention at times since she was chatting with her co-workers. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful dinner at Weeping at the Doc, which has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is interesting, fresh, and delicious. This restaurant has been our favorite choice for dinner dates for years, and we've consistently had wonderful experiences. However, our most recent visit did not meet our expectations. The service was sluggish, but the most disappointing part was the salmon. We both thought it tasted stale and like it had been microwaved—too tough to enjoy. This is not what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber and price range. Luckily, the steak sliders redeemed the meal.
We would go to DOC on a Tuesday as half price wine. We went this Tuesday but our bill was high. Apparently the Tuesday special has changed to happy hour between 3 6. As we were regulars and known to the wait staff I think it would have been nice of them to let us know about this change. We did notice that it was quieter then usual, this may have been a factor. We had a wonderful waitress, Brie, as we have had before. Very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, especially the filet sliders and Wrightwood Salad! Such a good selection of small plates to choose from. Only sad that we forgot to show our rewards account upon payment.
Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo is a must order! I get them every time. The kale queso warmed up was also delicious. The crispy brie is good. I probably would not order again because I prefer the authentic presentation brie.
Lighting is way to low, especially towards the back near the bathrooms. Very hard to see the menus. Food portions seemed to have gotten smaller. Still very tasty.

I was disappointed to find that they didn't offer any non-alcoholic beer or wine.
