I had a wonderful lunch here with my sister. The turkey and cranberry sandwich on rye was delicious. However, I do have one complaint. Being of English and Irish descent and hailing from Cape Breton, my sister and I consider ourselves somewhat knowledgeable about tea. I understand that restaurants are always looking for unique ways to attract customers given the competition, but serving hot tea in a drinking glass is a questionable choice. For one, drinking hot tea from a glass without a handle is quite impractical. Additionally, the type of vessel used to serve tea can greatly affect its taste. If you're looking to add a special touch to your tea service, why not use china cups? That said,...
Very cute shop where you can browse some books, and have a coffee. Tons of coffee options, I had the salted caramel latte- but the maple oat is a specialty so I can image it is delicious as well. Can be a bit busy, so it can be tough to get a spot especially on weekends.
I hosted an Open Mic night here on Friday, and I must say, the owner and staff were amazing! The atmosphere, drinks, and food were all fantastic as well. I’m excited to continue hosting Open Mic every fourth Friday from now on. Come join us!
