On a cold saturday evening we needed to find a place to eat! As there were lines at all the other restaurants around, we decided to try Dokkebi. The place is quite big so we found a table without problems. The waiters did not speak...French or English very well so it was a bit difficult to communicate. Maybe not very good regarding hospitality, but personally no problem for me it makes your evening fun! The food was decent but in my opinion nothing special. At the same time the prices are quite high, so for that reason rating. After many years spent in Asia, I was really looking to find back the real taste of Asian food and spotted this Korean restaurant a few nights before. Since it was already there was not so much queue and we could have our table...quickly. Unfortunately we had to wait for our food for nearly after compaining several times. Even more frustrating to see other tables served the same dish before us while ordering well after.. Seemed not to be the most beautiful restaurant ever from the outside, but as soon as we sat down, super nice waiter/waitress that were smiling and quick, and what's more important the food was superb. Had a sort of bibimbap with the menu that just...cost euros and we had many starters such as salad, rice, fried veggies, gyozas and then the main with meat many kind of veggies sauce and rice. All was just superb and for sure i ll recommend the place to my colleagues and friends.
I have to admit, nor my friends and me neither have precedent experience with Korean cuisine, so I can't actually validate this restaurant's authenticity. On the other hand, I can tell that the menu of bibimbap traditional I've chosen for was awesome, filling...and prepared with a wide selection of different plates. The waiter also brought us some orange in the end, because our menu hasn't included the dessert, it was a nice gesture.
Nice place with fast service. God food. But if We go to a restaurant we want som more personal service. But Anyway We got lot of god food and a Nice desert for freelancer.
Best Korean food I have had anywhere!! Absolutely delicious, great service and I would fly back to Paris just to eat here!! Beef Bulgogi absolutely amazing.
After trying local French cuisine I had to have something spicy. Ddukbokki (spicy rice cake) was my choice. Love it and the taste was spot on
