I agree with some reviews herein but disagree with several of the negative. My wife and I favor modern design but found the older style very charming and comfortable. The atmosphere is elegant and the service very attentive and responsive. There was a quiet sophisticated...atmosphere. We found the food very very good and very expensive. We went with great expectation to this restaurant which has exceptional surroundings and decoration. The table we got was perfect, but we expected better service and better food. We got the menus after waiting for mn and we had to request twice the wine...list to place an order. The starters were OK, but the fish was very dry on the edges and my Paillard de veau (Grilled piece of veal) which had a good taste was really too cooked and chewy. After weeks and at least as many restaurants in the area, I can say this one is the best this year. Location, view, design, service and food. Amazing location, very nice and professional staff.. the only negative point is...Food. I ordered a lobster pappardelle and I got a “calamarata” that was actually a Paccheri with lemon..so much lemon that I am not sure there was any kind of seafood in the plate....(For a restaurant of this level it would have been nice to offer what is clearly a wrong dish instead of a glass of wine when they understood the error.. Same happened with the dessert, lemon... Nothing to say about the price, absolutely reasonable once the chef will be changed.

Listen Villa Marie is a beautiful Hotel located I the hills near St Tropez. Its not in the town centre and you have to us etheir Navette to get everywhere. The restaurant serves very good food but when it comes to the arrogant service (you...are lucky to be staying here) and the bill extra bottles added to the bill from another table) as well as the price there are much better places in St Tropez. We are used to have a drink in such luxury hotel. It was my worth experience. We pay for a glass of juice with very few juice and a lot of ice cube (cf photo enclosed). We mentioned to the waitress who told it...to her supervisor. Nothing has been done to compensate us. If you absolutely want to have a drink there, ask it with no ice. The best thing remains to pass your way.

Every year Villa Marie is a choice for the lovers of South of France. Cozy, romantic, good food good service. It is best for candlelight dinners. As anywhere on the fine dinning on the coast do not ask about pricing.
