My family and I didn’t have a reservation but they quickly accommodated our party of five. We ordered the vegetable tempura and edamame as appetizers. Both were delicious. I asked the server for his recommendations on their best sushi, and he told me about their Nirvana, which is their veggie roll, and the rock ‘n’ roll both were absolutely delicious. If I lived in the area I would go there all of the time. Highly recommend.
We found the Naked Roll to be excellent—it consisted of a rice cracker topped with mixed tuna. However, the Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll was quite mild and lacked spiciness. The Island Roll, featuring mango and salmon, was decent but not extraordinary. On the plus side, the fish was fresh all around. Overall, we would definitely order again but might explore other options next time.
I ordered from here for the first time and was disappointed. The portion of miso soup was very small, measuring less than a pint and only half-filled. The udon noodles and broth weren’t packaged separately, so the noodles were overcooked by the time they arrived. Additionally, the broth needed soy sauce, but none was included in the bag.
This is a fantastic neighborhood Japanese BYOB spot! It's a must-visit for sushi and rice lovers (just a heads up, they don't serve pasta unless it's in a soup). You'll be amazed by the incredible variety on the menu. Dining here is a real treat! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The appetizers were a perfect 5/5. We tried the Shumai, fried oysters, and Takoyaki, and I can confidently say that the Shumai was the best I've ever had! As for the sushi rolls, there were so many options that I couldn’t even choose...
I ordered the chicken teriyaki, but it seemed like the chicken was frozen and grilled, as the meat was quite tough. The vegetable spring rolls were a bit soggy inside, but the gyoza were delicious.
Doma is my go-to sushi place but this time was slightly disappointed. The Yakuza roll was made differently and didnt taste the same. will try again and see what happens.
