Great location if you are physically fit enough to cope with the descent subsequent return climb, which thankfully we were. We were impressed by the reception housekeeping staff but this hotel has its problems. Primarily that it seems acceptable for guests to have to struggle to unlock the door to their bedroom (annex rooms only apparently avoid). Ours was specifically challenging, on one occasion other passing guests with similar experiences also tried and we had to revert to help from the receptionists or passing housekeeping staff. On our last night, a Sunday when there is no restaurant service, we made sure we were back in our room before reception closed at 21:30 in fear of being locked...
