Domaine du Seudre - Tisch reservieren

We have visited this restaurant previously, but this was a special occasion and the restaurant does a 'surprise'menu with its matched wines, which has to be pre-booked. We chose to have our aperitifs in the park, delightful, then went indoors for our meal. Truly it was special, with excellent food beautifully presented. It was not a meal to be taken in a rush, but the service was discreetly attentive, and time was spent explaining the food and drink, and we were asked whether we wanted the explanation in French or English.It was a celebratory meal to remember, and worth every centime of the bill.

In such a location we looked for somewhere to eat and were recommended this place. It was amazing: lovely location in an old barn in lovely gardens, open fire hosting a joint of lamb, lovely unpretentious service. An English speaking waitress assisted with the menu. The food was really beautiful with rich flavours and exquisite presentation. The tomatoes for entree were just so flavoursome. The chocolate dessert was a great end to a memorable meal. One of the finest we have had in our months of travelling.

We went here on a Monday lunchtime in April to celebrate my recent birthday. It's unusual in this part of France for restaurants to be open on a Monday especially at this time of year. We were the only guests as a table of 3, we sat in front of the big wood fire on a rather chilly day and had a wonderful lunch. The service and food were both great and we will definitely be going here again. It's not cheap, but excellent value for this quality and style of food.

We visited this restaurant twice during our recent holiday in the area - it was so good! A lovely setting, very friendly service and beautiful food. We felt it was very good value too, considering what was included, gorgeous appetisers and petit fours, for instance. Good English was spoken. We visited on Friday and Saturday evenings and the restaurant was not full, but nicely busy, so booking definitely recommended.

cadre agréable,personnel aimable, on peut y organiser des soirées, avec beaucoup de monde , une salle très grande et très bon repas copieux.
