D&V offers a pie that you dont come across often. Their dough is like old world rustic giving you a hearty thick base and pronounced crust w/lots of chew and serious bite. Their sauce is somewhat mild in one sense but also has an old school feel to the seasoning blend they use. Their cheese is a very good quality. Plus ordering a large me and my kid were handed a hefty square pie in a paper bag, thats hype presentation. Their was nice charring on the slices and the smell when cracking the bag open was A1 overall really impressed I mean check the cracking on the crust pic ppl!... Square cut slices are always fun too. My only poins off came in the form of overall salt levels from dough to chee...
My grandfather took my father to this pizzeria community in the 1950s when it was just a small house at the back of the lot. In the 1970s, my father brought me there many times. I can vividly recall Dominic's tucked away at the back of the lot; it wasn't a fancy dining spot, but it felt like a refuge. It was both my father's and my favorite pizza place. Since those days, the lot has seen many changes. I remember when the new building was constructed and other retail stores started to pop up. Now Dominic's has expanded to other locations, and while the name has changed to Dominic's Vinny's, the same family and recipe remain. I also recall when Vinny Solo relocated to the intersection of Merid...
They say everything tastes better when you’re hungry.... Well idk. I had them once before and I remember Then being better. Were they bad? No! However this pizza was extra chewy. Gave my mouth a workout. Nothing but kids in the kitchen today, so maybe they don’t have the routine completely down.

Best pizza there is... period. And being in a state that has hundreds of great pizza places that's saying something. I have ordered here nearly every Saturday for years and years and not one bad pie. Not one. Love this place!
Pizza in a bag...Who knew!? Staff was great and Pizza was Delicious!!! When a business only serves Pizza and one salad...You know they're good!!! As you can see in the photo only half the Pizza made it home!!!
