The trying from hard to be hip food was like eating a salt shaker. Crunching on grains of salt. Ingredients weren 't fresh and drinks bleck. We always leave a 20-25% tip but it was already included in the check with a sentence saying because of wage disparity . I waited tables in college and it 's upsetting when people don 't tip. Nonetheless, tips are discretionary and it 's really bad taste (which all the salt in the world can 't mask) for a restaurant to acknowledge it 's underpaying employees and unapologetically ask customers to make up the difference. If that 's the case there should be a note on the menu that there is a surcharge.
Outside and in this place is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff and service are incredible. The drinks are also fantastic and u inquest. However the prices and food bring this place down significantly. The portions are small for even one person, yet they boast about how it 's all about sharing . The prices are definitely higher than other local Mexican spots, but the food is average at best. Nothing really stands out or pops with flavor. After spending about $350 on food and drinks my wife and I still left hungry.
Really great meal tonight. The lamb Barbacoa was very good. The carnitas were fantastic served with tortillas and tomatillo salsa. Fantastic. The guacamole and chips were good. The chocolate mousse dessert with peanuts was very very good. I highly recommended the restaurant. It was a lovely experience. We had a bit of a challenge getting more chips and more tacos. Just flagging staff down. Otherwise great.
Nice atmosphere, but the food was nothing exceptional. And the meals, and drinks for that matter, were way overpriced. And also annoying that the restaurant automatically adds on 20% tip, regardless of whether you want that or not. Needless to say, over $350 for a dinner for 5 with minimal drinks.....for just OK Mexican food. Not going back there again.

I brought my wife here to celebrate her birthday, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff was very attentive, and the food was exquisite. They have a vast selection of tequilas, so I highly recommend trying the tequila flight. We will definitely return!
Incredible food. I always feel at home at Don Memo. They were so amazing acknowledging the occasion after I put a note on the resection. Great food, great staff and ambience. Drinks are delicious too!
Always fun with interesting menu. As regulars would like to seem them vary menu more often especially salad offerings. Noise can be overwhelming at times.
A fun place. Good food although they’ve dropped some of best salads such as Kale Caesar an beets& avocado. Noise level can be deafening!
