Went for lunch with friends who live locally and eat there often. We can see why. Lovely pub with a great menu and fantastic owners and staff. We enjoyed our lunch thoroughly and plan a return soon. As a footnote, on the day we went it had snowed heavily and the landlord had been out and cleared the entire car park. He is a big strong lad but still, there was a mountain of snow. Top customer care.
We were to come for lunch as part of a group, but they came down with covid!!! So my husband and I decided to still have lunch, as we'd looked forward to it all week. Didn't disappoint. Two roast beefs, plates cleaned up, then cheesecake that is the best, and chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Always delicious. And the staff are friendly and attentive. Recommend to everyone, go to Dorrington.
Returned after a visit last year, when we had the most amazing game pie. When I rung to book a table, I enquired if game pie would be on the menu they then arranged that it would be on the night of our booking it was devine, all home cooked to perfection. Will be returning, amazing place food, staff atmosphere.
Had Sunday lunch here today (19th Feb) and it was so good. The service was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend you pay a visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The staff were able to accommodate us for dinner and Sunday lunch on two consecutive days without a booking. The staff and the other clientele were very friendly. The prices were very reasonable too. If I could choose a pub as my local this would be it.
Top class from the start, friendly welcome, even though very busy. Great staff, great food, great choice. Its over 200 miles away, yet I will drive back there next year just to enjoy the experience.
The is the gold standard of places to eat, food is excellent, service in brilliant, atmosphere is unsurpassed, the most welcoming place I know, Tanya, Peter and Eva and their staff are awesome,
