This restaurant serves possibly the best Chinese food in the city, surpassing all other places I have tried before. The dishes had excellent taste, texture, and appearance. The prices are reasonable for Cherry Hinton and much better than in Cambridge center. The staff were attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and service. I will definitely be returning to take advantage of their free delivery services. Double Seven is our regular Chinese takeaway and always reliable. Kung po dishes very good and the dry aromatic chicken or prawn also excellent. Fast service and while not the cheapest it feels good value for the amount of food and quality. The restaurant is a bit white noise and straightforward decor but often has groups of Chinese students eating there (I assume this to be a good sign). I think some of the negative reviews reflect problems with delivery rather than the food and I really would not listen to the one star reviews. If you can collect yourself it is probably best. The restaurant is very clean with a great menu and friendly staff. They offer a wide selection of traditional and unique dishes not commonly found in other Chinese restaurants. You have the option to dine in or take away, with a special offer of three dishes and a pot of Chinese tea for £15. This deal is popular among Chinese patrons and I highly recommend trying it out for a quality dining experience.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced! The delivery was prompt and the driver was very friendly. I highly recommend trying the deep roasted Tofu-Veg with black bean sauce and veggie spring onions - all of it was delicious!
