Neighbourhood Italian. I'm so glad we stumbled over this hidden neighborhood place last night. It doesn't look like much from the outside and sits in the heart of the newly built Maverick Square T stop. But step inward and you are warmly welcomed by a really friendly staff, led to a table of one of the two dining rooms. We ordered two excellent martinis from their full and inexpensive bar, and got a starter of fried Calamari with a sharp red sauce for diving, large part and easy to share. Another favorite star is the caprese salad, slightly big enough to share for two, the presentation is beautiful and the tart basalmic dressing is addictive. As fate broke our train on the subway, and we ended to find a place to eat in walking distance (to stay at Hilton Logan and prefer not to take another $50 Uber somewhere), and I stumbled over this restaurant of googling nearby and open late restaurants, so ended in D’Parma. It was destined because the food was the most authentic Italian food I had in the USA. We had the lobster ravioli, which was literally completely filled with huge pieces of fresh lobsters, in a perfect Alfredo sauce... absolutely amazing! Then we also had the calf Parmesan and it had the perfect amount of delicious homemade bread and covered with mouth irrigation Marinara and Mozzarella cheese! We have the sweet tooth, so...
Such a cool spot! Went in for after dinner drinks and loved the atmosphere. Smelled amazing and the dishes going by looked delicious, so we will definitely be going back for dinner very soon!
I had lunch with chicken marsala, the food came with a side of salad, pasta, and bread. The food was fine, price was super affordable, and the atmosphere was lovely.
