A hidden gem! Most upscale Chinese restaurants, despite their beautiful decor, often serve food that's just mediocre. But then you step into THIS place, and while it may not be as fancy, it's got character — almost like an interrogation room with extra tables and chairs, haha. However, the food here is what truly shines. They serve the best Chinese comfort food in town. Their sesame chicken is perfectly crispy all around, and the almond fried chicken has just the right crunch. The fried rice is incredibly tasty, with perfectly fluffy grains. The Mongolian beef is consistently well-cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. Every dish we've tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection...
We had dined here before the pandemic and weren't impressed with the food. After receiving encouragement to try it again, we decided to give it another chance tonight. Unfortunately, it seems to have become even worse. This is the worst Chinese food I've ever encountered. Some dishes were served cold, others were overcooked, and everything lacked proper seasoning. Almost all their dishes are based on sweet and sour sauce, and there’s very little variety in flavor. The chow mein was a gloppy disaster with virtually no flavor. It was quite strange. Overall, it was an expensive order with half of it being inedible.
Although the atmosphere was not carpet, plushy booths, soft music, etc. this place is clean and newly renovated and painted. They are just beginning to come back from the pandemic. They are a young, lovely couple, and encourage families to come. They are working to build a new lounge within the building,. However you do not hear noise, or experience dust, etc. give it a chance. Give them feedback. While in the process of renovating the separate lounge, there were problems with plumbing. We hope this can be resolved soon, because we really want to return and enjoy the food again. Parking: Large open gravel lot.
I finally had the chance to dine in at this restaurant for the first time, and the food was outstanding! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. The quality of the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic, with sports games playing and a family-friendly vibe. I can't wait for the lounge to open so I can return! First time getting food to go from Dragon Ball restaurant. They were on time, amazing food and very polite. Meals are only to go orders but that works for me. I ordered hot n sour soup, chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein and egg rolls. Best hot n sour soup I've had since moving out here.
