Located in a two storey building, you would not think its an authentic place, but it is. Located directly in front of "The Bow" building, its a place that is your typical dim sum restaurant. The decor has some character as well, and there are a few free limited parking available on the east end of the restaurant at the back. Parking otherwise is expensive at the IMPARK lot beside this building. We are upstairs and ordered a few dishes to try. Service was quick, and efficient. This Chinese restaurant is almost hidden on the second floor (assuming the street level is the ground floor, then it's two floors up) in a small low-rise building at the south-east corner of the Calgary Chinatown. There's no elevator, that means customers are required to have strong legs to climb a few flights of stairs. There also does not seem to have an openable window, so I wonder how customers will escape in case of a fire, especially when there is only one narrow staircase and there are two other restaurants downstairs. Very good original Chinese restaurant. Excellent service, food fresh hot, big portions, timing between appetizers and entrees is very good as we finished the wonton soup they dropped off the steaming hot spring rolls which were excellent Then came the entrees the ginger beef chick fried rice beef and broccoli sweet and sour pork all of it was delicious Very friendly staff have not had service this good in ages
The dim sum is amazing, you order everything at once (you don't have to wait for the carts to pass by your table) and it is fresh, the washrooms are super clean and in your way there you can take a peek at the kitchen which is really clean and organized! Delicious food and a different special fried rice that worth every penny!

If you are not used to Dim Sum, its a good place to go, they have visual menu's so you don't have to guess. Never been disappointed, I particularly love their pork steam buns, I always order some to take home.
Found the food to be more westernized than authentic. Expected more. Some of the food was greasy and not much taste. My Chinese husband and mother in law will not go back. Maybe it was the dishes we picked.
the service was quick and friendly. The food was cooked just right and the flavours fresh and tasty. I don't know if they normally put msg in their dishes but we had asked them not to.

who likes to eat Chinese should visit this restaurant. although beaten with jetlag, eating has tasted us very well. the service was very friendly and helpful when explaining the food.
Good food. Dim Sum and beef hot pot were both very good. I think the pricing is a tad high but would return to this location to eat again.
