My brother and I sat down and waited for a waiter or server to attend to us, but neither the staff nor the manager acknowledged our presence. Frustrated, we eventually decided to leave. As we were getting up, a woman was cleaning the table we were sitting at, which only added to our irritation. It felt like we didn’t belong there at all. I’m not sure if it was because of our attire— I was wearing overalls, shorts, and a t-shirt— but it seemed like no one bothered to take our order or even check in with us to see if we needed anything.
I’ve dined here twice over the past year while visiting my family who live nearby. I absolutely love the crab rangoon roll, and my husband enjoys the eel roll. The sushi is definitely the highlight of the menu. The smash burgers are decent, but as someone who prefers beef to seafood, I’d much rather stick to the sushi options.
This place offers tater tots and fried bologna—could it get any better? You can also enjoy a cold beer or a nice Chardonnay to complement your meal, depending on your preference.
The chicken tacos were soooo delicious. I also really loved the dumpling appetizer. Shout out to the bartender for putting on a fresh pot of coffee for me at 1 PM.
