I hate to say this, but this is NOT authentic Mexican food! When my friend ordered queso dip, they served us melted Velveeta cheese with chips instead. The beef and chicken I had were cooked without any flavor, and my friend's shrimp dish was just as bland—absolutely no seasoning. The avocados in the guacamole seemed fresh, but once again, there was no taste. I would only recommend this place if you prefer your food completely unseasoned. To top it off, our food took forever to arrive even though the restaurant was empty.
My first review was taken down, which makes me wonder if the restaurant is trying to hide the inappropriate behavior of their waitstaff. Regardless, this reflects poorly on them. I’m giving one star because the food was decent, but the overall dining experience was quite unpleasant. Our waitress was far from professional. I brought my lovely pregnant wife, her mother, and our children out for lunch last Saturday, and this waitress leaned in too close several times, which was completely inappropriate.

Many options like Enchiladas , tortas, different types of burritos, tacos are the best in the area! This is the perfect family restaurant or a great place to gather with friends. The margaritas are so good. You must try a cántarito! You?ll thank me.
I call and order to pick up the staff seems friendly and the food was done in no time I bought a torta )milanesa de pollo con todo ? this is a chicken sandwich with everything ?and tacos de carnitas ?pork tacos ?the food was good the prices are about the same as a the other Mexican restaurant around this place is very easy to find and has plenty of parking this restaurant is very clean btw.

As for parking, if I remember correctly, there are about 13 spots available, so it can get a bit tricky when it's busy. It's usually better to order to-go, as the wait is around 30 minutes depending on the size of the order.
In terms of wheelchair accessibility, there's one door for winter and another for summer, making it fairly accessible overall.
If you want authentic Mexican food this place is amazing! We are from Arizona and have been missing decent Mexican food and we are thrilled to have found this place! We got a variety of tacos and they were fantastic. I definitely want to come back and try more of their menu. Especially the horchata, michelada and other goodies.
I missed La Mexicanita's Tacos from The second floor and then someone told me that they opened up a restaurant. I was so excited to see them have their own space with delicious Tacos de Lengua. There are many side sauces to choose from and the service is unmatched. I will definitely be back with my family again.
This is some of the best Mexican food that I have ever had. Very good service and an inside bar area. My go-to place for Mexican food. Another great feature is that they are open late nights. One of the only places available open that late at night in the Tunkhannock area!

The food is delicious and caters to all tastes! Even my picky kids love the chicken wings and fries—they can’t get enough of them. There’s a wide variety of options for everyone. The prices are great, and the portion sizes are generous.
The burritos are served with a generous portion of fries! The salsa is one-of-a-kind and absolutely delicious.
