We ate here on our third night in Andermatt. The menu is extensive. Quality of food was excellent. I had the calves liver with rosti. The liver was tender, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. It came in two healthy servings. The rosti was nicely crisp on the outside. My husband had the steak and chips which he absolutely enjoyed. The half bottle of Merlot was lovely and smooth. Dessert was the lightest profiteroles I’ve ever tasted. However I wish it was served with dark chocolate sauce! The server was gracious and attentive. We enjoyed it so much we booked it again for tomorrow night!

Vor allem das Personal ist so freundlich, nett, hilfsbereit, professionell und bereit, Ratschläge zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung zu geben. Das Zimmer und das Hotel sind in einem wunderschönen altmodischen Stil gehalten. Frühstück super, auch der Kaffee. Abends Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen. Kostenloser, sicherer Parkplatz. Wenn Sie jemals planen, nach Andermatt zu reisen, bleiben Sie hier.
We walked right from the train into the village, and stopped for dinner here. They have a large, protected terrace which felt just fine on a slightly chilly summer evening. We encountered very friendly and quick service, and were very happy with our food a fresh local fish and a Wiener Schnitzel, which both were of excellent quality. The Schnitzel was huge, and came in two servings.
Food tipped onto the back of one of our guests, guests not getting their meals, ridiculous excuses from the staff (like we don’t have Rosti left and anyway it’s not very good here), no pasta left, average veal sausage, shocking polenta etc etc the only thing that was any good was the bottle of wine
