We used to love coming to this place. Recently, the last few times we?ve been here, the same cook has not changed his gloves after touching raw meat, eggs, and bread. My husband said something to him the first time in a lighthearted way, asking him toplease change his gloves. The employee was upset but did change his gloves but then left and took a break. Today, once again, myhusband watched the same employee fail to change his gloves for the whole time we were there, thus contaminating so much food.It?s a public health concern. And this is an open kitchen. Imagine if the kitchen wasn?t open. Maybe he just needs sometraining, but either way, this issue is risking the patrons getting sick fro...
I absolutely adore this place! The food is incredibly delicious and the prices are great. The mimosas are fantastic too. We only spent around $30 for the two of us, including some good drinks. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit in downtown. I do wish they stayed open later, but the fact that their food is so tasty and enjoyable makes up for it. My boyfriend also loved it! The portion sizes were so generous that I had to take mine to go. The only downside is that the bathroom could be a bit bigger. Still, I give this place 5 stars! Thank you and goodbye for now!
My son and I ate here for the second time yesterday. We both ordered the Father Schlink sandwich(pulled pork mac and cheese), and it was delicious just like the first time! My son said that it was the best sandwich he's ever had! We also ordered the honey custard pie for dessert and it was VERY good as well. I've never had a pie like that before but we will definitely get it again next time. I also would like to state that I love the atmosphere of this place, employees are friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked in the door. We will be back again!
I enjoy leaving honest reviews. That being said, I was slightly displeased that I didn’t receive my order in a more timely manner. Timing usually doesn’t denote my drop in stars but overall affordability and substance does. I was perturbed that the vegan entree made with quinoa was cold and only the vegan sausage sprinkled atop was warmed. I enjoyed the overall flavor of the entree but the portion was also smaller than I had anticipated. I can't believe I'd never been here before. It's the perfect little breakfast spot. A very small, cute hole in the wall. The staff is all very sweet and so helpful. The plants at the windows were all thriving. The food was wonderful. I will without a doubt be back. I'm so happy to see all of the positive reviews, and I'm also glad to see that the negative reviews are pretty easily dismissable. The vibes are perfect. Go give them a try if you haven't. It will absolutely be worth your time. Thanks for such a great breakfast!
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and I'm sad that I waited so long to try it! I had the Sweet Million sandwich with turkey, bacon, fried egg, goat cheese, and cranberry sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Despite the odd combination of flavors, it worked really well. I ate half of it hot while sitting at the counter for lunch, and the other half cold for dinner (still just as delicious). The tomato soup was also very good! I can't wait to go back and try more of their exciting combinations!

In town from Illinois and was extremely happy we found this spot! Food was amazing and filling.. breakfast for 4 under $40!? The staff was super friendly and overall vibes were awesome! Definitely found our breakfast spot when in town.
