We dined at the Drunken Admiral as a special treat as we were visiting our son in Hobart. The decore is nautical and very interesting but thats where the acolades fonish. I ordered the seafood platter and our children had numerous other dishes. There were 4 in the party and only 3 meals arrived. Being patient I decided to wait 10 minutes before asking the waiter about my meal. His reply was to be patient as they are busy. Another 10 minutes....now 20 I again enquired about my meal. 5 more minutes and my meal arrived cold soggy and a very poor excuse for a seafood platter. Attended this spot last night and it was fairly busy but they gave us a 8:30pm booking. Food and drink service was good and the portions generous. My only complaint was that on a simple seafood tasting plate which included two natural oysters I asked for two of the cooked ones which were on the oyster menu (and the same price) and they refused to do this and when your paying over. $100 a head for your meal was a easy request
Liebte diesen Ort, als wir Tassie besuchten. Wir wussten nicht, wohin wir gehen sollen, und wir blieben im großen Kanzler und gingen buchstäblich auf die Straße. Liebe das Thema und das Dekor. Ich fühle mich, als wäre ich auf einem Schiff. Liebte das Essen. Garnelen waren unglaublich. Beste Meeresfrüchte. Cocktail war so lecker! Einer meiner Freundin empfiehlt mir einen betrunkenen Admiral. Einmal habe ich die Austern ausprobiert, was das Beste ist. Vielleicht, weil die Auster so gut ist, für das glatte gegrillte blaue Augenfilet ist es in Ordnung. Nichts Besonderes für mich. Wie für das Dessert habe ich Scotch-Butter-Pudding ausgewählt. Es ist zu viel für eine Person.

Mein 8-jähriger Sohn bestand darauf, dass dies ein "fünf von fünf von fünf" war, weil die köstlichen Hühnerstreifen und der Wüste, obwohl ich sicher bin, dass der Spaß-Dekor geholfen habe. Der Chowder war köstlich wie die Verkostungsplatte und der Fishermans Hot Pot. Ein echtes 5 von 5.
Eine beeindruckende Nacht. Das nautische Thema hat mir wirklich gefallen und die Meeresfrüchte passend. Chowder-Füllung und die Muscheln, die mit Geschmack platzen. Die servierenden Größen sind übrigens massiv. Service für den größten Teil ziemlich gut. Eine großartige Speiserei.
Donuts!!!! Now that I've got that out of the way, let us talk about the amazing seafood, great atmosphere and lovely service. We will be back next year when we come down for a conference. We need more donuts and ice cream!
Ordered the steak that absolutely melted in you mouth, the cherry and apple ciders locally owned and brewed were awesome. Seemed like a very busy place, we had not booked but would be advisable to guarantee a table

Wirklich lustiger und schrulliger Ort. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell und die Meeresfrüchte sind frisch und lecker. Vielleicht ein Berührung teuer, aber ideal zum Teilen.
