The Restaurant du Mont d'Orzeires is connected to Juraparc, a family animal park, and is located in the Jura mountains. They offer wood-fired pizza on Friday and Saturday, and typical chalet specialties such as fondues. However, what sets this restaurant apart is the wide variety of bison-based dishes--consommé, sausages, steaks, carpaccios, tartares...and these offerings seem particularly relevant given the herd of bison in an enclosure that practically brushes against the wall of the restaurant! If you enjoy buffalo meat, why not. Service is friendly but not very efficient. This restaurant makes money, too bad they don't put money back into service and a little higher standards. For instance, after two PM, no more roesti, and they are delicious. Their (expensive) burger is mediocre and industrial. Too expensive all in all. Will not eat there again.
Ein schöner Ort zum Mittagessen, besonders im Sommer, wenn man auf der großen Terrasse sitzt. Das Essen ist gut, aber der Service kann etwas lahm sein, besonders wenn viel los ist. Toller Spielbereich, um die Kinder zu beschäftigen, und Streichelzoo auf der (belebten) Straße.

Freundliches Personal, half uns mit etwas Englisch und servierte uns ein gutes Essen beim Besuch von Le Grottes de Vallorbe. Nicht billig, aber sehr froh, dass es da ist. Der ganzen Familie hat es gefallen und wir würden wiederkommen.
Friendly staff, helped us with some English, served us a nice meal meal visiting le grottes de vallorbe. Not cheap, but very glad for it to be there. Whole family enjoyed it and we would go back.
We were seated for 15 minutes before someone give us the menu. We were waiting and waving for the lady to pick up our order for 15 minutes, nothing. So in the end, we left.

Quick and friendly service. Quite huge portions, a bit "cafeteria style". Pleasant terrace. On the pricey side, due to the proximity with Juraparc.
