We went there on a beautiful November day after spending a couple of hours visiting the nice village of Erlach . The location of the restaurant is nice being close to the lake and it is easily accessible . The decor inside is sober and in fact a bit dry which does not contribute to a romantic setting . Fish is the specialty and again there is nothing sophisticated in its presentation . Service is fast and professional but not very warm . Prices are average to what we have seen elsewhere in Switzerland . One goes there for the location !
It has a good location close to the Erlach lake recreation area and the path leading to St. Peter's Island (peninsula - it used to be an island before the lake levels dropped). On a nice sunny day, it's a good place to grab a beer and snack on the terrace, but for meals it's just ok. It's able to handle large groups, so that could be a consideration, but for family sized groups there are better choices within a 5 minute walk. I live close by and have been there on numerous occasions, but it is never my choice.
Knuspriger Fisch mit gedämpften Kartoffeln und Tartarensauce. Auch wenn das Essen, der Service und der Standort absolut in Ordnung waren, lag der Preis immer noch am oberen Limit. On a hot summer day I stopped there for a coffee break.The restaurant is conveniently located near the harbour and a 10-minute walk from Erlach bus station.The terrace is nice. However food and service are quite average. The Coupe Hechtebucht ice-cream was generous in quantity but rather tasteless.The waiter was friendly. But as I mentioned that he had forgotten the coffee on the bill, he just added the amount orally - but WITHOUT issuing a new cashier receipt. A bit "strange". Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Als meine Tochter den Kellner freundlicherweise bat, seine Maske aufzusetzen, während er sich über den Tisch beugte, antwortete er, dass dies auf der Terrasse nicht erforderlich sei. Wenn es dir nicht gefällt, hättest du zu Hause bleiben sollen. Wir waren sprachlos. Der gebratene Fisch war ok, aber eher zu viel Teig. Als wir nach Tomatenketchup fragten, brachte er uns einen einzigen Umschlag, der für ein Restaurant kaum geeignet war! Es gab keine Covid-Rückverfolgung.
The location is handy for the boats, the path to St Peter's island and is only a short walk from the village. The terrace is spacious with a big canopy. Service was very friendly, and the food arrived promptly. The meal was good, the price reasonable. A good option if you prefer to be served at table, rather than standing in a queue at a couple of the self-service restaurants nearby. It is neither romantic nor prestigious, for that you need to look elsewhere.
Extrem schlechter Service. Berechnen Sie 3,60 CHF für ein Leitungswasser! Ging zum Nachtisch, beide waren recht schlecht zubereitet, eines möglicherweise veraltet.

Extremely bad service. Charge you 3,60 CHF for a tap water! Went for dessert, both were quite poorly made, one possibly out of date .
