Me and my friends randomly planned a Friday night out and decided to reserve a table at the Duke of Kent—and we’re so glad we did! The pub had an awesome vibe, and we even caught a football match on the big screens, which made the night even better. We kicked things off with some cold beers and loaded nachos—classic combo and perfect for the game. We also got honey garlic wings and fries to share, and they were super tasty. I was in Toronto for 10 days and visited the Duke Pub a few times during my stay. The pub is quite lovely and the patrons were very friendly, leading to many enjoyable conversations. I particularly appreciated the coat hooks at the bar and the great beer selection, including my favorite, Goose Island Ale. Leigh, the bartender, was fantastic - she made me feel right at home at the Duke and was extremely welcoming. Her friendly demeanor was an added bonus. I will definitely make sure to stop by next time I am in town, even though I no longer live in Canada.
The service at this restaurant was excellent - the server was friendly, fun, and efficient. I ordered the Eggs Benedict for brunch, but unfortunately it wasn't very good. It was cold and there was only a small amount of Hollandaise sauce. However, I would still return because of the superb staff. I decided to give the Eggs Benedict another try on a later visit, and this time they were perfect. The staff continued to be fantastic.
Had a special party of 10. Arranged the reservation in advance. The GM and Matre'd were both very very accommodating, particularly as we had a few difficult requests. Great service. Great food. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended.

Cool pub, meeting some ski friends for a beer and laughs. NTSC having and event upstairs more friends . I live in the boonies (Aurora) kind of miss that downtown vibe, got over it on the way home, until next time
The service and food were excellent, there are not enough stars for what a great experience we had! Jen, Jen, and Robin took amazing care of me, my husband and my bff. Thanks for an amazing night!
Great place to grab a quick pint or hang out with friends. Cozy atmosphere with a classic pub feel. The staff are always friendly, helpful and good for a laugh.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The service and staff are fantastic, and the food is even more incredible.
