Duke Of Wellington

As we walked back in the dark country village, we realized it was too late to drive anywhere else since we were in a rural area and I had already had a drink. Consequently, we had to go without dinner after a long drive to the North Yorkshire Moors. We had done our research and found no mention on their comprehensive website about only serving residents on Mondays or the need to pre-book. This experience reflected poorly on their customer service. We would have likely visited for dinner every evening during our weeklong stay, but this incident completely deterred us.

I had a lovely stay at this B&B. The room was spotlessly clean and featured a comfortable double bed and a bath—just what I needed after a 150-mile motorcycle ride. The views were stunning, and the food was delightful, priced quite reasonably. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, service a 4, and location a 4. Hotel highlights include the amazing view!

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The rooms, the food, and the staff are all exceptional. As a foreigner, I felt warmly welcomed. If you're in need of accommodations, a drink, or a meal, this is definitely the place to go! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I only visited the Duke once, but I would definitely return. It’s a lovely and charming place. After reading other reviews, it’s clear I'm not alone in my admiration—many others have rated it 5 stars as well.

I absolutely adore this place. I've been to the Duke of Wellington three times, and each visit has felt too short. The location of the Duke is simply fantastic...
