This little sweet shop in Jardin is an absolute must. We went to try the alfajores (cookie with dulce de leche filling) and loved it so much that we went back several times during our stay in Jardin. We also tried the red velvet cake...and carrot cake and bought more alfajores to take home. You'll also notice that most of the coffee shops in Jardin (like Cafe Manacas) serve sweets from Dulces Del Jardin.
this lovely place on the outskirts of town is great to satisfy any sugar cravings you may have. they sell different flavours jams and ariquipes (similar to a caramel sauce traditionally made with condensed milk). if you're unsure what flavour(s) to buy they are more...than happy to let sample some. the more you sample the more you will want to buy. they make great presents if they get that far!
We were disappointed by the lack of pastries and fresh sweets. Most of their food is sold in jars and there was no cafe ambiance to enjoy. We had heard of some sort of demonstration of how they made their food but we did not...see anything! They also have a smaller shop in the main plaza but we did not sample that one.

Hay veces tanta cosa importada, costosa y que no da trabajo me empieza a molestar. Asi que comprar de origen es mi pasion y me sube la estima de muy buena manera, sin dar limosna

Los dulces son deliciosos, especialmente, el arequipe de remolacha. Hay mucha variedad y la atención es muy buena.
