Last night, we experienced poor service at this restaurant. We had to ask for wine glasses and water multiple times, and when we finally received the water, there was a fly in it. The waiter was dressed in a dirty uniform, which did not set a good tone. The tables next to us weren’t cleaned, so we had to spend the entire evening looking at the mess. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn’t even busy, and no one offered an apology for the issues we faced. Overall, it was a dirty establishment, and I would not recommend it. It used to be a good place, but we felt embarrassed to be there. I advise others to stay away.
This charming little restaurant is tucked away down the stairs at Balgowlah Plaza. You can't easily overlook it, thanks to the abundance of signs! I found myself as the only customer, aside from an elderly couple who departed shortly after I arrived. The service was decent; the owner personally attended to my table and was both friendly and courteous. The food was enjoyable, although the crispy chicken was filled with bones, which somewhat spoiled the dinner experience for me, even though it was noted on the menu. Despite that, it was still quite tasty.
I ordered takeout one afternoon, and it was fantastic. When I opted for delivery one evening, the flavors were excellent, and it arrived quickly. Everything was fresh, hot, sweet, and delicious, exactly how Chinese food should be. The entire family enjoyed it. I can't find any complaints about the rice, meat, or vegetables. We've sampled every Chinese restaurant from Manly to Avalon, and this one stands out. It will definitely be our go-to family meal on Friday nights from now on, and we’ll have it for Saturday lunch if there are any leftovers.
Good value Chinese restaurant tucked away just off Sydney Road in Balgowlah. It was pretty busy when we went there very popular with families, yet the service was still pretty good. Food was simple but tasty. If you have a copy of the Entertainment Book, I recommend you take it there to save a or 2.

The food was excellent and arrived nice and hot since I picked it up. However, I didn't enjoy the sweet and sour pork and wouldn't choose it again. Overall, the food was good, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
This is our local 'go to ' Chinese Restaurant. Food is always great. Love dining in but home delivery is always fast, fresh, hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
