When I got home, I realized that my sweet tea was actually unsweetened. Seriously? I got back in the car and drove back to the restaurant, which is close enough to walk to. Once inside, I noticed the doughnuts I had originally wanted and asked for a sweet tea. The employee seemed intent on arguing about the sugar content. I simply requested a fresh sweet tea or a refund. She rolled her eyes and finally prepared the sweet tea for me.
If you’re having a bad day, it’s better to take a break. If you're dissatisfied with your job, it might be time to consider a change. I will also be reaching out to corporate about this experience.
This used to be my favorite Dunkin', and I would drive all the way from Glenview since that's where I live now. However, after today, I won't be returning. I always order a caramel macchiato, but today I could hardly taste the coffee. Macchiatos are usually packed with espresso, but this one just tasted like an iced latte. It's disappointing to see such a decline in quality. They've never messed up my drink before, but my husband has had issues with his iced Americanos—they ended up being more like iced coffee. It's terrible! I won't be coming back.
This was my third time at this Dunkin' location. The first visit, they messed up my order twice. The second time was okay, but today will be my last. I asked for an iced coffee, but they gave me a hot one by mistake. When I told them, they just poured the hot coffee over ice and gave it back. I also ordered a hot coffee, but it was only half full. The staff seems mostly young and uninterested in their jobs. I suggest trying a different Dunkin’.
Excellent location with a convenient drive-thru. I love their coffee and the awesome app that lets you earn free drinks.
