I ordered the hummus chicken shawarma with a Mediterranean salad as my side. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, and I loved it on the creamy, delectable hummus that accompanied it. The vegetables in the Mediterranean salad were fresh, crisp, and very tasty. I also decided to try a side of beef kebab, which was fantastic. I expected it to be tough, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it just as tender and juicy as the chicken shawarma.
I placed a pick-up order and arrived 15 minutes later to find my meal nicely packaged and ready for me at the front counter. I really hope this place continues to deliver such quality, as I would love to visit more often. I had stopped eating...
It's always a good gastronomic experience for me in this place. The beef shawarma that I like to order is always tender and flavorful. The rice is cooked just right (not mushy nor dry) with a flavor that will definitely complement any meat they serve. The serving portions of the sides, rice, and meat are more than enough for a full meal. The staffs/cooks I have encountered, in all of my visits, are all polite and efficient. Although I have never seen the same staff/cook in all four occasions that I have visited the place, they are all consistent in the way they cook and present the meals. Clean restaurant that currently makes to go orders for Mediterranean plates. The gentleman working there was kind and explained things very well. It was my first time here and we ordered the lamb pita pocket and chicken kebab plate. Everything tasted fresh, however the only critique I have is the meats were kind of burnt. I'd still come back and try the place again. Garlic sauce was great, the pita bread was so good warmed up. The rice is also filling alone by itself! Also pricing of the food was fair .
I called my order in 12/21/21 the order was ready when I arrived. I left and while in car I checked my order and felt that the portions were mistaken. I returned to restaurant and reviewed my order with the young man. I was mistaken with portions. The young man went over and beyond to satisfy my order. The food was very tasty, although the portions were quite small. When I approached the cashier, he wasn’t wearing a mask, but he put one on after I got closer. Unfortunately, he didn’t smile when I greeted him. He was somewhat helpful, but will I return? Probably not. I'd prefer to go to the restaurant across the street from Cerritos Mall.
Without a doubt, this is the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. The staff was fantastic, especially Steve, who was incredibly nice and helpful. He suggested the chicken shawarma plate, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The portions were generous and very satisfying. I can’t wait to return with my family soon!
I just tried this place for the first time 100% happy i did. I meant to order the beef shawarma but clicked chicken instead -not disappointed lol the hummus is very creamy has a good flavor, the cucumber yogurt has big chunks of cucumber which i liked. for sure will be ordering again in the near future
I love any place that has lamb chops lamb kebabs! The Cerritos location is awesome! Please stop by and save a seat for me!
