This place is a beautiful hidden gem. They are located in what seems to be the center of the city. Many parking spaces are available. There is also EV charging in the parking lot. I really hate to leave a bad review; it makes me sound like a troll. But when I leave a restaurant still hungry, I get a bit hangry. Last Saturday evening, I was served a shockingly overpriced dinner at Grape D'Vine in Sparkill, where minuscule portions were served with dismissive contempt by a haughty overlord, after which we went home and made peanut butter sandwiches because we were still hungry. I have been searching for a particular cream liqueur and maple bourbon for the past two years that is produced in Vermont that is not sold in Virginia. After a bit of research...I was told that Grape D'Vine sold it. As luck would have it they only had one bottle in stock and it was promised to another customer. Incredibly fresh and creative. Always change the menu with unexpected turns, but always super tasty. The whole staff loves food and knows their stuff. Top 5 in Rockland/Bergen safe! Never disappointed, beautiful seating outdoors and good Kovid comfort level. We rejected Dessert, but when our waitress heard that it was our jubilee dinner, she insisted to serve a dessert and Bubbly (and interesting conversation! . The Snores Custard was phenomenal. Fine dining in a casual environment. Inventive dishes with all fresh ingredients. Nice service, good wine and cocktail list. Prices are higher than one might expect, but portions are large and quality is superior. Having such a good restaurant in such a small town is a positive.
This restaurant offers an extensive selection of wines. The staff and owners consistently greet you with warmth and friendliness. They are highly knowledgeable and are always eager to recommend wines for any occasion. It's the best spot in the area to purchase wine!
So great place! You would think you were in a trendy NYC West Village Spot, with amazing and creative small plates and dishes, very cool ambience, super helpful and first-name base staff and a general hip vibe of the city, not the "Bürbs.
I'm amazed with my experience here. The food was spectacular, the drinks are super creative and true mixology masterpieces. All around great restaurant a little pricey but 100% worth it.
