Un hotel con un encanto especial. Situado junto al Río Ega. Mejor si te toca habitación con vista al río, pero cuidado con dejar la ventana abierta, porque, como es lógico, se puede llenar de mosquitos. Las habitaciones divididas en compartimentos hexagonales son las que están construidas en los antiguos silos de almacenamiento de harina, ya que el hotel es una fábrica de harina del siglo XIX rehabilitado, que conserva gran parte de su construcción original a modo decorativo. Un hotel muy curioso y bonito. El desayuno es normalito, no muy variado pero para mí más que suficiente. El café de una máquina de marca conocida de calidad, cosa que se agradece. What a difference it can make when a restaurant is quite. When we came here it was quite. The room is styled architectural and soothing even with the concrete. We wanted to share our two entrees of asparagus and artichokes. That was facilitated by each dish being halved before being served individually. A master-stroke of exceptionally fine service and the willingness to provide us an experience. We had separate main courses. My wife the pork, large, and I had the pigeon, small. Both were great dishes but I did eat mine in small slices. I had the Curd and my wife the French Toast. Again both good and tasty. With the 2005 Prado de Irache the night went down a treat.
La habitación muy espaciosa y limpia. El personal de la recepción bar atento y amable. Esta ubicado a 10 minutos andando del centro de Estella. No aconsejo el desayuno buffet que cuesta 11€. Debido a la baja del cociner@ no había comida salada caliente tal y como nos ofrecieron: huevos, bacon, txistorra, etc. No obstante, y a pesar de este contratiempo, la bollería estaba seca y el zumo de naranja no era natural. No nos ha descontado nada del precio aunque lo ofrecido no correspondía con lo ofertado. He intentado hablar con la dirección en 2 ocasión sin éxito. Finalmente he presentado una reclamación.
I had a cold tomato soup, breaded veal and chips with good quality wine and water, plus dessert. All for 19E. It was good quality food. But the dessert of cheese cake was strange more like a cake made from cheese than my normal experience of cheese cake . Good attentive yet discrete service. The room was on the lower level and the decor a bit muted. But overall an enjoyable experience.

Le pongo tres estrellas porque creo que aunque es un cuatro estrellas la cuarta pienso que está de más.La habitación de tamaño bien.El kit de aseo que nos han dejado pobre.La nevera vacía sin nada que poder tomar si te apetece.Sin botellas de agua de bienvenida o algún detallito.Television diminuta.En fin lo dicho.No se porque tiene cuatro estrellas
Starters and main courses were exquisite beautifully presented goats cheese salad,very flavoursome risotto,outstanding steak(who knew Spanish steak could be so good?)We would love to give this place a 5 but surprisingly the dessert was in no way up to the standard.Execellent value for €19(incl. water and wine)
What kind of restaurant applies automatic 18% gratuity to a party of six? Food was mediocre at best. Service was fine. No reason to ever go back.
