After the match, a friend who is a regular and enjoys playing pool helped by clearing some trash and empty glasses, only to be met with the dismissive comment: "Don't make my job easier!" This behavior made me suspect that the staff member was possibly under the influence.
Despite this, I decided to give the pub another chance and returned the following afternoon with my friends and my friend's son for some games of pool. We received a welcome from the bartenders we knew, including the staff member responsible for the unpleasantness last week. I visited with my other half for lunch. Once we found out that the venue didnt do food, they informed us that if we wanted to bring our own food in we could and were really helpful telling us all the local take outs ect....We had a pint, beer was great and to be honest when the guy behind the bar said £2 I wasnt expecting much, reason for the price and all. But no i was delightfully wrong. The beer was good and kept its life. The staff were great and helpful. Once we had finished and needed directions to abbey road studios (life long Beatles fan) the manager got his phone out and took us through it on Google maps to make our life easy. And either suggested bus routes. 10/10 would go back
I used to enjoy Karaoke every Thursdays, but, they've discontinued. I still go there to enjoy Poker Tournament every Wednesday. The Boss at the Bar, Mr. Neil always serves everyone with his pleasant smile, and at times, when it's very busy, he still serves everyone...at his dynamic speed, and maintaining his usual welcome smile. I wish they start the Karaoke soon, again. All the staff, of Neil's team are very friendly and helpful, and offer superb services at all times........Ash
I visited this restaurant for drinks with friends, and we were excited to see it open again. However, there was an older man who walked around as if he owned the place and showed us absolutely no respect, which was disappointing. On the other hand, there was a gentleman named Roy, who treated us with a great deal of respect and kindness. Despite the negative experience with the older man, Roy's excellent service made our visit much more enjoyable.

This place just gets better and better. Great atmosphere, mix of young and older guests and TVs everywhere so you always have a good view wherever you sit. With the addition of a great manager and excellent staff who I led recommend this to anyone....They are also beginning to have live music so check out the webpage for local bands playing
I love this pub, it’s got the cheapest drinks in Kilburn by a mile and staff are friendly and welcoming. Really impressed with the post-Covid operations, with hand sanitiser readily available and stickers clearly outlining where to queue etc. Can’t fault it
Me and friends are up here doing some work and needed somewhere to watch wales play Italy. It was good atmosphere and when the fame game finished we could play some pool. Cheap beer good sport.
Have been here a few times whilst visiting family. Very sound, basic pub, no frills but decent drinks. £2 a pint beats everywhere else including Wetherspoons. Sound staff.

The Earl of Derby is a fantastic British pub. The staff are friendly and always eager to recommend a drink. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a good time.
