This pub is my Fiance and I's "go to spot" in Stouffville. The owners George and Lee have done wonders to the pub since taking over several years ago. The food is absolutely outstanding and is not your typical "pub grub" food. Although they do provide pub traditions and favorites, they also offer many unique and creative dishes that are beautifully presented and are always delicious. I find it's hard to come by places where all of the food is fresh, homemade, and comes from local places - this is what The Earl has never failed to provide. The staff are friendly and give excellent service. With many taps to choose from, a warm and clean environment, a place to have a party, and delicious meal...
Received the worst service ever. Would not go back. Sat at the bar and took forever to order drinks. We ordered the wings and fries and were not offered ketchup but then when the bartender brought meals to another table I overhead her ask them if they needed ketchup. Not once did she ask us how the food was or if there was anything we needed. The bartender did not ask us if we wanted another beer even though we had empty glasses for at least 15 minutes. Even though there were three waitresses on the floor it took 10 minutes to get their attention to pay our tab. Could have walked out without paying. Went to the Tipsy Cow after. The staff are more pleasant. Will never go back to the Earl.
Great pub food on their backyard patio. Had a great 2 patty burger on a brioche type bun with fresh cut fries, two others in our party chose the wings & fries (both were raving about how good they were), the other order was the fried Brie salad on a bed of spring mix salad with tons of candied pecans.Menu is made up old pub standbys , bangers & mash, shepherds pie, burgers, salads, pasta, and more. Lots of micro brew choices. Attentive servers, great old building in Stouffville.(Only issue might be the Go train that goes by)
I must admit I had a great time listening to the many great performers....many of them local, I think. What a talented community, and a wonderful music atmosphere in the upstairs. I also ordered a burger, and, while a bit pricey, was pretty good. The meat was real, and the bun fresh. I also really like the way they do their onions....quite tasty. The fries were also very good....from real and unpeeled potatoes, and not greasy at all. I'll come back sometime for their open mic/jam sessions. Great atmosphere!

Had the chance to attend a small party on the upper level. Platters of finger food plentiful, hot and tasty. Felt for the server who was running up and down the stairs, but she was attentive and kept tabs - very organized. It's a quaint converted old mansion with a fantastic British feel. Will go back next time I'm in Stouffville.
I wrote a review under the Earl attraction page which included much detail. I wish I had copied! I composed much good information about George, the venue, the open stage events, the Guinness event at the wonderful chicken fingers. I will see if I can find that review once it is published and copy it here.
I attended for a meeting of about 6 people. The service was quick. I added an extra patty to my burger and it was worth it. It was a good, solid burger. I added the speciality cheese to my onion rings and I didn't really like it. This place is located in a convenient location on the main road in town.
Been three times in the last month. Every time has been the same-great! The food is really good and they have some nice craft ales on tap. Happy hour is from 4 to 6 weekdays. Half price tasty mussels and discounted ales. Well worth the visit.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with our toddler and were happy with the very prompt service, that allowed us to get him fed quickly, that kept him happy while we had our own burgers! The burgers here are fresh we loved them!
The restaurant offers gluten-free options for nachos and pasta.
