We did not enjoy our food here. For the prices we were paying we expected the quality to be better. My husband and I both has steak and mine was seasoned well if not a little salty. I was ok with that, I like my steak a bit salty. My husband decided to have his steak blackened and it was so salty it was inedible! We sent it back and got another one fairly quickly but it was still on the salty side but better. The side dishes were not bad but not great and the drink menu was a little boring. The service was good and quick but when asking the waitress about flavors for chicken wings she obviously doesn't have a lot of experience with different flavor profiles. We sat on the patio (don't know why we were the only ones out there, oh well, everyone else's loss). Salad off the feature menu was delicious and the wine was crisp and served in immaculate glassware. I thought our server knew nothing about the wine they had, as he said we have "Watcha ma call it"..but that's actually the name of the Chardonnay. Oh how we laughed. Good times, good times. It tad on the pricy side, but we don't visit every day.
Food was the standard for Earls - good selection good food average price. Server was very friendly.Inside the restaurant was clean and tidy - Outside is a whole other story. From the outside it appears that the manager has decided not to have any landscaping or trimming or tidying up duties, if I was driving by, I could assume that the business was closed.
I have had the opportunity to eat at several earls locations all over Alberta. While this location seems to be an older restaurant, I had a very good experience and even went back the following week. Service was awesome and the waiter came by to see how everything was, and kept the coffee topped up. I had the Cajun blackened chicken dinner and it was very tasty. Came with potatoes and coleslaw, and it was spicy and filling! Definitely would go back!
Met a friend for lunch. It's literally been 15 years since I've been to Earls. Lunch was good. Service was good. With lots of options in town are usually don't think about rules very often.
Had an enjoyable meal with relatives. Quick service. A large variety of different cuisines to choose from. All enjoyed the meals chosen. Wait staff very good.
