Met friends at Earls before a show at the Paramount last night. First time I had tried, but Jack and Dianne are from Denver and vouched for food quality and quality of service. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with excellent service. Seated before my guests arrived, our server, Rickie (sp? was attentive and gracious. My Old Fashioned arrived just as Jack and Dianne walked in. We grazed our way through the menu starting with an interesting sushi roll and six pieces of the remarkably fresh shrimp cocktail. Terrible, we won’t be back. First of all it was extremely loud!! The music, the atmosphere, as a table of 4 we couldn’t even talk without yelling and even the waitress couldn’t hear what we wanted to order, half way thru dinner we just all stopped trying to talk and sat there looking at each other. Then the service was bad, our waitress disappeared at some point and we had to ask twice for our check, she finally came and just sat the iPad down and walked away, we had no idea how to pay or close out, had to ask another waiter walking by who apologized multiple times. Got the bill and a margarita was $17!!
My boyfriend I are visiting Denver for the first time. Paige was our waitress she was badass! Very patient, thorough, down to earth friendly. Will definitely be a stop anything we are in Denver!
We went for brunch on Mother’s Day and they appeared to be short staffed and overwhelmed. Took a long time to get food and it was cold once we got it. We barely saw our server.

The service was phenomenal, Ricky was amazing and if you can request him, you won’t regret it. The Don Julio margarita was excellent and the steak was cooked perfectly.

Food was solid, but service was well below expectations- even in the environment today with low expectations on that front. Slow, no attentiveness at all.
This restaurant has really nice ambience. It was comforting, but also a good intimate date night. There is also enough room for big parties....
