I noticed some reviews expressing disappointment over the new ownership and changes to the menu, but honestly, East Coast Bagel does a great job if you're nearby and craving a tasty bagel or bagel sandwich.
I have now sampled every bagel shop in town, and this is the most authentic. Bagels are perfectly soft, with chewy crust, just the way they are on the east coast. Wonderful flavors and generous cream cheese as well. Once you've had a bagel here, you can't go anywhere else!
Friendly shopkeep, tasty NY style bagels! They have a good customer-base, so I call the day before and place my order to be sure the variety I like is available in the larger quantity I need : Their veggie cream cheese is fresh as well, good flavors!
This was the best bagel I’ve had in Orange County. I ordered the Lox sandwich, which was fully packed, but the standout was definitely the bagel itself. From now on, this will be my go-to bagel spot.

My new fav place! Bagels are amazing! I had bagel and lox and lox was delicious too! Only thing I was disappointed they don't serve Bialy bagels East coast style . They should add that to their menu
Bagels didn't look appetizing and against my better judgement, I still bought them. Tasted old and plain. I went there because it was on my way to work. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
The bagels are consistently chewy and perfect every time! They are operated by a fantastic, hardworking family from the area.
Best bagels in town, yup...they make it crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Good size too
