Great takeaway food. Edit: We've been using East Essence for about 2 years and been very impressed by their food and quality. However recently they've stopped taking card payments. I only use card and haven't used cash in about 5 years. I really don't understand why they'd remove a modern and convenient payment method and force me to go a mile away to get old-fashioned cash. There are other Chinese restaurants nearby who take cards, so I guess I'll be using these from now on.
Had a takeaway from here when on holiday. Good food the noodles were a particukar highlight. The chip portion was small and it was pricey in comparison to other places.
We stumbled across this restaurant on a rainy evening. The menu is very varied and the dishes served are very generous and good. The service is fast and efficient.

4 of us came here and sat in. The food was great. I would go back. We got a main each with some sides. The staff are nice
The food is excellent, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. I have never encountered any problems.
