The waitress seemed unfamiliar with alcohol, as she misread our order for a Captain Morgan and neglected to note that we wanted it with a mixer. When I clarified that we were ordering Captain Morgan, it became clear she might be new, which we understood.
However, another employee approached us in a rather rude manner to insist that we needed to order a mixer with the Captain Morgan. As a former bartender, I know there are better ways to handle and clarify drink orders with customers.

Enjoyed a great Father's Day breakfast here. One of the few places I was able to get a booking. The place was almost full but unfortunately a bit understaffed due to illnesses so service was not the quickest but the staff there did a great job none the less. I really enjoyed the big breakfast with the option of pancakes instead of toast. My daughter's avocado on toast was also very good though they forgot to put on the poached egg, this was fixed almost instantly so no real problem. Coffee was good and overall a very nice experience. Food was really good bf had the pork ribs n it was massive came with a burger, slaw n chips, I had the dirty burger n chips n kids had hotdog n chips ,burger n chips lovely service but moody server didn't crack a smile once felt bad for her she didn't seem at all happy. Would come back again but hopefully don't have her again.
The beef brisket burger was excellent—quite filling, with a delicate and flavorful taste. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were friendly.

The East Village Ice Tea is a must have, absolutely delicious and unlike how most places make it; not too sweet. Burgers are perfect too!
The floor staff were friendly, but the manager was quite unpleasant. The food was good, but the overall service was lacking.
Service was great!! Unfortunately, overpriced for the quantity especially when you say it's a special! Just disappointed.
