We came by on a weekend night and ordered the soup dumplings, the chicken and prawn fried dumplings, the panfried pork dumplings and the shanghai noodles. The soup dumplings had good flavour but were a tad on the sweet side for me. Otherwise they were soupy and juicy on the inside and the skins of the dumplings were thin and smooth. The fried chicken and prawn dumplings were very moreish and probably my favourite dish. The Shanghai noodles were cooked al dente, flavourful and saucy (but a little too salty). As a table of 6 arriving an hour before closing who were very indecisive, they were super accomodating to us! We ordered the taiwanese chicken, fried rice, hokkien noodles and two serves of panfried pork dumplings and everything was lovely. The pork dumplings were succulent and the taiwanese chicken was super yum. If you're looking for a cheap asian place to take your mates when you have no clue where to go, it has a bit of everything to please everyone. :
This restaurant in Carnegie offers the best quality dumplings at a great value. I always order the pork or prawn/chicken dumplings, which can be steamed or pan-fried. The fried dumplings are delicious and not too greasy. The spinach wok fried in garlic sauce is also worth a try. A tip for ordering pickup: call the restaurant directly for cheaper prices than using Ubereats.
I travel about 40 minutes to get to this restaurant, but it is definitely worth it! This is one of the best dumpling places I have ever been to. I always order the pan fried pork dumplings, and they are delicious. I used to go before the restaurant was renovated, and I recently saw the new modern look - it's very nice. I love this place!

So good . Been going there for the last 4-5 years it’s always the same good old fashion real china food plus very good service . On this visit , the Chef came out to asked us how was the Szechuan Fish chilli soup was its chilli hot enough!Felt very special he bothered to came out to talk to us !Will always go back there.
We go to this awesome busy place for their mouth watering pan-fried dumplings. Hands down the best ones in Carnegie and that's saying a lot because Carnegie has lots of good Asian cuisine restaurants. Have also tried their fried chicken wings..a bit oily but really tasty. Must try if in Carnegie
Mini wontons in peanut butter sauce is always my favourite and it can't be found easily in Melbourne. Dumplings are nice and juicy as well. Just a bit down for the dinning in because of almost no mobile phone reception at all if you sit inside the restaurant.
The dumplings were delicious! They tasted really authentic and you could tell they were homemade and fresh. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly. It's a nice casual spot, perfect for a quick bite. I can't wait to go back soon!

Does anyone know if they use MSG because the fried vegetarian dumplings were sooooooo good. ? Loved them. I didn't try the meat ones I don't eat meat but the rest of the fam loved them.Delicious.
I love the dumplings here so much! They 're always delicious, quick and they 're cheap. We love the 'pumpkin pie ' too and always order it along with pork dumplings and steam buns.
