My party of four dined at this restaurant on October 16th, 2021, based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We ordered 4 parathas and one Madras chicken curry to try. Unfortunately, the food took 20 minutes to arrive and the parathas were overcooked to the point of being blackened. The chicken in the curry seemed undercooked and appeared to be reheated leftovers with added spices. We paid £24.35 for this disappointing meal and informed the waiter that it was the worst we had ever tasted. The restaurant does not accept credit cards, so we had to transfer the money directly to their account before leaving in extreme dissatisfaction. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the poor...
Another balti that does not disappoint ,I think I should stop praising the food quality and price because I have to ring and reserve a table on Friday night now . I had a prawn balti that was absolutely delicious ,I recommend you try these dishes which would cost lots more in any other east London curry house .once you have tried you will go back for more .
Since being introduced to this place by friends we have given up on the curry house near us and instead catch the 368 to this one. The food is standard curry house but it's served with care, the atmosphere is friendly and busy, and the staff really welcoming. Prices are fair too.
Me and my son Ryan had meal here whilst both working in the area ... food was very good and hot ... beer only in bottles ... staff very friendly... owner good guy to ... only marked it down as toilets where bit smelly ... but I can recommend it for everything else.
Amazingly freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. This place is welcoming with charming service waiters were attentive and excellent service. Excellent meal and great value we will certainly be going back. Highly recommend.
I have been to many Indian restaurants while working in London, but this one stood out as the best. The only downside was that they only had Cobra beer, not Kingfisher. I had a chicken vindaloo and the spiciness was perfect.
The flavors of each dish are distinct. The food is high quality and reasonably priced, with pleasant staff. I was trying out a new place for takeaway, but I plan to come back with my wife to dine in.
We had a lovely meal from here. Meat sag, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice. All was cooked well and tasted great. We would recommend this restaurant and will order from here again.
During lockdown it has had a major refurb and is looking great very light and has new seating ,food is still excellent and prices are very low .love this place and food .
