Went for Easter brunch on a whim. Setting was very nice, like eating in a classic bed and breakfast. Drinks were well made and staff very friendly. Some drawbacks, even with a reservation we waited a very long time to be seated. Apparently their system is you get an assigned table and you need to wait for that table until those people leave. Not great if they decided to park with drinks. Most of the buffet was good. Some things ran out early and were not filled, but the carving station was excellent. I would also like to see utensils in everything as well. Not a fan of grabbing with bare hands.
The restaurant has a long history and serves excellent food, but it can be quite pricey. One item on the menu was around $20. The kids' meals are only for those under 12, yet the portions are so large that they would likely be too much for anyone who isn't an adult.
September 2, 2023. This is a lovely, private restaurant with excellent service. However, I would recommend avoiding the New York strip steak. It was quite fatty and tough, and the quality of the meat and cooking technique didn't meet expectations.
Went for Mother's Day brunch buffet and was very disappointed. Food was not hot and they ran out desert. Our waiter was less than helpful. We paid $50 per person. We should have gone to Golden Corral. Very disappointed................. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Filthy room, dead cockroaches, dirty bedding covers and pillows, polyester sheets, Mosquitoes flying out of bath towels, dirty bathroom floors, broken inoperable windows, AC that sounds like a jet engine, THIS PLACE IS BAD !!!
Good food and service. The server was very attentive and helpful. The food was flavorful and came out relatively quickly. We didn't stay at the b&b, only the restaurant. Quaint setting and very interesting history.
Best place in several states for brunch (we’ll try dinner soon). Ambiance is very nice, service superb and the food delicious. We’ll happily drive an hour to get to Hodge Podge Lodge.

Got brunch at this place this morning, and the food was to die for! My server, Clint recommended the chicken spinach crepes, and I think I’m in love! Definitely will be back!
