We gave this place yet another go after our was a take away experience. Tasty yet very small serve. As we were disappointed with our in dining experience, we thought we’d give it another try. We live locally, booked online and were greeted...by a lovely staff member, who was very helpful with our choices. From there our night turned sour. Disappointed with our choice of entree sized fried calamari, which was very average, as was the fondue dish served with some type of meats. Not enough for so chose to order an extra of the beef linguine, which was served a single dish. 4 of us came here for dinner on a chilly Spring Saturday evening. We were seated outside under cover and thankfully there was a heater right near our table. The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful. We all shared the fondue and 4 cheese pizza (with added mushroom). The pizza was tasty but the base could have been cooked a bit longer. I had a special for my main which was sliced fillet of steak on a bed of rocket, then covered in parmesan and balsamic. It tasted really fresh and was a generous size. We also had one bottle of wine, couple of beers and one dessert. I thought it seemed a tad expensive at $120 per couple. But overall it was a pleasant experience.
What amazes is the consistency of the food including the quality and how it is cooked. It is the opposite of mass produced hybrid italian food, e.g. the Pizza Ecolo or the Lamb might be simple examples but they let you enjoy distinguish taste sensations. It just tastes like real food not just some reheated Microwave dishes or some fancy but unidentifiable mishmash.
Five of us dined at Eccolo last night. The food was all tasty although quite small portion sizes. Missing from the menu are the staples like scallopini, chicken parmigiana and cutlets. The service was friendly and efficient. If Eccolo expanded its menu and perhaps introduced...BYO I think it would enhance this little restaurant

The freshest pizza I’ve ever had. I love that the pizzas are not overloaded with ingredients. Real Bases are awesome and have that wood fired taste. Chilli mussels also awesome. Give it stars if I could. Kids love it as well so a regular...for us
Had excellent meal and great friendly interactive service. Polenta chips fantastic, scallopini with mushrooms great and the donut with nutella was to die for. Loved it.Went back again so good. Coccio special fantastic.Excellent service again.
Ordered the Pappardelle Con Agnello which is meant to be cooked with ‘slow cooked lamb shoulder’ and got lamb mince instead, portion was a bit small also! Completely dissatisfied with my meal
This place never disappoints. Home made pasta- always yummy. The wood fired pizza is amazing. Great antipasto plates to share. Wine by the bottle or cafe. Great in winter or summer
