Went here for dinner one night. The venue is a great place with a really friendly atmosphere. Being vegan I often have problems finding something to eat and have learnt from bitter experience that a lot of Clubs do not really cater for vegans or people who have dietary restrictions. There was a Red Wine and Chorizo risotto that had a vegetarian option so I chose that without Parmesan cheese. My partner had steak (which was a bit rare for medium) with a small serve of fat chips a mushroom and a few shabby beans. The chips were very ordinary. We attended this club again recently for lunch and opted for the Monday special of Bovine and Beveridge. The young waitress was very polite and helpful when taking our order but the older lady was somewhat rude and butted in when we requested our gravy on the side. We received a large thin T-bone steak each with a good serve of vegies and a beer and wine thrown in for only $15.00 each. Our steaks were a little over cooked and tough but otherwise the meal was okay. I had some visitors from interstate with a few kids. We decided on the Workers for lunch and we weren't disappointed. The kids were well looked after with kids packs( a booklet with stickers and crayons) drinks and free sweets. Our lunches were great too... My roast of the day (beef) was just awesome! The staff were great, polite and friendly. Well done!
The restaurant has friendly staff, a good menu, and nice amenities. The only downside was the "feta" risotto, which did not actually contain any feta cheese and instead had parmesan. It's not a big deal if you like parmesan, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand so I could have chosen a different dish. Overall, I would give it 4 stars.

My Boss put on a staff dinner for all of us and it was fantastic. In the Red Gum function room, it was a wonderful private, quiet nicely presented room for dinner and drinks. We all enjoyed our evening, with big portions of great food we struggled to finish. We'll be back again for sure.
We had a group of 25 for dinner on the busy Southern 80 weekend. As we booked ahead we were able to use part of the conference room. Staff were brilliant and really made it a great night for us. Food was excellent. Can't say enough how great it was at The Workers!
This recently renovated club is a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and there is a great selection of machines in the gaming room. Convenient parking is available at the side or in front of the club.
This restaurant has a fantastic kids play area and a complimentary TV room with comfortable beanbags. The children's meals are delivered in adorable little boats, and each child receives a complimentary activity pack, soft drink, and jelly.

Food was well presented and quite enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. Price was about right for the current times. Nothing to complain about at all. Recommend this as a good place to eat.
Visited on Monday steak night three of group had the steak all good I had the roast of the day.Roast lamb not so good seemed to have been reheated a coule of times.Service was pleasant
