Las Penas is the best spot in town for Ecuadorian cuisine. I truly love it and frequently order from there. I've brought friends from NYC to try their dishes, and they’ve all become fans. The only downside is the lack of delivery, as parking can be difficult. If they offered delivery, I would order even more often. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy their delicious food!
The food was quite disappointing; it lacked flavor and was served cold and stale. The rice tasted old and hard. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I wish I could give it zero stars, as it really doesn't even deserve the one I had to give.
The food was fantastic! I highly recommend trying the seco de chivo, sancocho de carne, a mixed bolón, and the cebollada de pescado. However, the guatita wasn't my favorite dish. I will definitely return for the bolón!
