I lived in Mortdale for 2 years, this was my favorite place to eat when i lived there.Growing up i had a few friends that were Lebanese, The food there reminds me of what my friends mothers use to cook. You will not find better service then here. Edward the owner has just so much passion for what he does. I am now down in the south coast, I miss the food and service very much. I have tried everything on the menu, there is nothing i can fault. The garlic baby octopus is my favorite dish there. portion sizes are well as is the price.Relaxing atmosphere and the hummus is incredible. This Food Critic just might take a trip up there one day.
We had a group of 8 for a family meal and we were very pleased to book at Eddies.The food was lovely and Eddie himself helped us select our dishes. He even suggested how many dishes we would need so we wouldn't order too much! Kids have their own options which is great.Service is prompt and the team are very attentive. Overall we left very full, happy and committed to come back for another meal.A sign of a good business is the number of repeat customers and judging by the number of people who were known to staff this restaurant has many loyal patrons. From what we experienced, this is absolutely understandable!!
This restaurant caters for GF and vegetarian dietary requirements.The food is amazing. Home styled Lebanese food in a family run restaurant. The dips were shared and plentiful. The main meals were delightful.We had between the group, the octopus, the lamb sausages and the lemon chicken were perfectly cooked and a plentiful serving size.The staff were attentive without being over bearing. A great place to have a dinner with family and friends.
Eddies is a small, informal restaurant in the main street of Mortdale. There was a good range of food, all tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. Polite, helpful service. The chairs are above average comfort and it is not too noisy. It is quite inexpensive. I would definitely go back.

We have been to Eddie's a few times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints. The food is fresh tasty refreshing and truly satisfying and the service is great.
Eddie is a very friendly gentleman and his food is to die for. His banquet is very generous and plentyful and we were a group of 10 and had a very enjoyable night.
We just had two birthday party dinners at Eddies , the presentation, quality, freshness and service were excellent. Highly recommended.
We loved Eddies at Revesby and found you again at MortdaleHe is always so friendly even when busy and the food is always great.
