This restaurant is a fantastic place for authentic homemade ice cream! After a lovely dinner, my friends and I decided to stop by for some classic ice cream. The flavors are rich and creamy—I indulged in a two-scoop sundae with chocolate syrup, featuring coffee and mint chip flavors. It was absolutely delightful! We even got some to take home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance has a charming, traditional vibe. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!

Eddie's Sweet Shop is a charming, vintage-style ice cream parlor. I tried the two-scoop ice cream sundae for $10.00—just a heads up, they only take cash! The sundae includes your choice of syrup, freshly made homemade whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry on top. It’s a timeless delight. The staff is friendly, but service may slow down during busy times, so be patient—each sundae is handcrafted fresh.

Unfortunately, I have to rate Eddie's Sweet Shop quite low this time. I ordered the banana ice cream, but was disappointed because it lacked any banana flavor. I had really been excited to try it. The shop was very busy, which is good for them but made the wait quite long for us. I’m hoping to try a different flavor next time and have a better experience to report.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It's a significant part of Queens, NY history. The hot fudge sundae is absolutely delicious!
