Fantastic view from the big balcony window. The staff were welcoming and did speak some English, tho...as always responded week to my O level French. Good lounge which was quiet our first 2 nights but lively the third. Breakfast was substantial and reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant 1 night and were impressed with all the course except the main which was fine,but not as good as the others courses. we were here overnight while we sketched in samoens in the grand massif. they get a beautiful view of the mountains and it is a quick journey to gondola and old part of samoens. the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly...and professional. we would stay here definitiw.

clean, big room for us three. great view over the valley to the ski area. the hotel is located on the slope above the city a little. no skibus connection. dinner was really good, I wanted to fondue and they changed the menu a little and served. it! yummy. also the breakfast was good.

all home made by the owner & chef, Patrick. we were on a half board basis; had 3 courses each evening. Good wine slection. We had the most amazing Tartiflette!! very enjoyable & highly recommend.
Again, the same tourist fare that you can get anywhere.__The outside seating is kinda strange as the tables are perched on these stone steps.
